Facility and Farm: where horses and nature always come first

Best of Europe – Bred in the USA

On 74 coastal acres near San Francisco, we breed, raise, and train jumping and dressage horses with pure German Verband-approved pedigrees and offer training for young horses and developing riders.

Our breeding strategy is to marry a unique collection of performance-tested premium, elite, or states premium Verband approved mares with frozen semen from Europe’s best stallions to produce youngsters of extreme quality, athleticism, and rideability. As testament to the quality of our breeding program, roughly 40% of our horses are exported to riders, breeders, and investors outside of the USA who find we compare favorably with European purchases. Please browse our website for our current sales collection or our breeding pages to learn more about our mares, stallions, and their offspring.

Farm Manager & Head Trainer Daniel Zilla and Instructor/Trainer Dawn Hogan also offer training services to a limited number of clients;  tailoring individual instruction to the talents of each horse and/or rider to cultivate a lifetime of mutual enjoyment and competitive success.

The farm proudly offers fresh and frozen semen from Holsteiner stallions Contiano B and Chicardo and you can see examples of their offspring and many other Branscomb Farm bred horses who have gone on in sport and breeding in our Alumni and Testimonials pages.
