On 74 coastal acres near San Francisco,we breed and compete elite-quality young jumping horses from top European bloodlines and offer young horse training, competition, and breeding services to outside clients looking for top quality boarding and education for their youngsters.    

Under the supervision of Manager & Principal Trainer Ivy Creahan and offering state of the art theriogenology & veterinary support through an affiliation with UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital Department of Equine Reproduction, Branscomb Farm offers a full range of breeding and foaling services as well as boarding and training packages for the field raising and age-appropriate training of young competition horses and their riders.  Through individual instruction, the talents of horse and rider are cultivated together for a lifetime of mutual enjoyment and competitive success.

Our breeding strategy is to marry a unique collection of performance-tested premium, elite, or states premium Verband approved mares with frozen semen from Europe’s best stallions to produce youngsters of extreme quality, athleticism, and rideability. .   As testament the quality of our breeding program, many of our USA bred horses are exported to riders, breeders, and investors outside of the USA who find we compare favorably with European purchases.  A limited sales collection of young horses are offered in the spring of each year. We also stand and use our own home-bred pure German Verband approved 2020 stallion Valentino BF (winner of the 2024 North American Sporthorse Stallion Test – Jumper section) and now retired grand prix stallion Contiano B (Champion 2010 German FN authorized North American Stallion 70-day test) also bred by us. Also introducing in 2025, the outstanding young 2021 stallion Emerelo BF who will be introduced to the show ring and breeding shed in 2025.
